In 2009, Morne Engelbrecht embarked on his entrepreneurial journey with a focus on security systems. Recognizing the growing need for advanced and reliable security solutions, he quickly established a reputation in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Specialising in products such as security gates, camera systems, access control, electric fences, and home automation, Morne's business grew rapidly, earning him recognition as a Level 4 Telecommunications Installer and a specialist in several high-demand systems. Driven by a passion for growth and mastering new skills, Morne qualified as an Electrician in 2012, working on projects ranging from residential installations to large-scale industrial applications. His technical journey didn’t stop there. In 2013, he expanded his certifications to include Domestic Gas Accreditation and Electric Fence Installer Accreditation, further diversifying his service offering. In 2015, recognising the market's demand for efficient and innovative trenchless pipe repair technologies, Morne pioneered a shift in the industry. He became one of South Africa’s first accredited trainers for trenchless technology equipment, partnering with leading European suppliers. This commitment to innovation led to the creation of a repair center for the products he distributed, further cementing his position as a trusted leader in underground solutions.

By 2023, Morne consolidated his extensive expertise and ventures into Panthera Technologies, a company designed to offer a comprehensive range of services under one roof. The goal was simple: to provide clients with one trusted partner capable of delivering solutions in security, plumbing, electrical, building, and automation — all while maintaining a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.
